Jana DeLeon is a New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today bestselling author with over 5 million books sold.

She grew up in southwest Louisiana among the bayous and gators. Her hometown is in Carlyss, but you probably won't find it on a map. Jana and her brother spent thousands of hours combing the bayous in a flat bottomed aluminum boat, studying alligators, birds, and nutria in their natural habitat.
